Another milestone in the control system rollout

Control via the smart meter gateway is scalable and advances the control rollout. 
This has now been impressively demonstrated by the partners in the SISSY research project.

In the joint trial, the complete communication chain within the test PKI was demonstrated - from the Robotron GWA system from TMZ to the SMGWplus from PPC, on to wallboxes from Mennekes and the subsequent implementation of the control signals in the connected electric vehicles. Not just one but four wallboxes were connected to the smart meter gateway, each of which received individual control signals from the GWA via the SMGWplus.

"This marks another important milestone on the road to mass-capable control together with customers and partners. The successful breakthrough will now be followed by the further development of the GWA system for scalable productive operation and integration into automated MSB processes," explains Dr Kai Herrmann, Product Owner Smart CLS at Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH.
